We can help in any QCAT related matter
The Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) is an independent Tribunal which seeks to resolve disputes between parties in an informal way that is accessible, fair, just, economical, informal and quick and less costly than the Courts.
QCAT’s jurisdiction determines certain matters at first instance, but it can also review decisions of Government Agencies and Statutory Authorities such as the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) and many others.
Boss Lawyers can assist you to submit or defend proceedings in the Tribunal, by drafting the relevant Application or Response documents and also assembling the necessary evidence, on your behalf.
Whilst the Tribunal encourages self-representation, some more complex disputes require a party to seek the assistance of a legal professional to enable the best prospects of a favourable resolution. If your matter involves complex questions of fact or law, we can assist you in seeking the leave of QCAT, to permit you to be legally represented in your proceedings.
We regularly assist clients in QCAT proceedings involving building disputes, consumer issues, debts, minor civil disputes, residential tenancy disputes, retail shop lease disputes and many more.
