The Role

A great opportunity for a solicitor with 1–3 years PQE who wants to move into genuinely commercial work. You will work directly with Mark Harley across commercial litigation, insolvency, and disputes — with real responsibility from day one. No hand-holding. Real clients. Real stakes.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with commercial litigation in the Supreme Court, Federal Court, and QCAT
• Drafting letters, affidavits, submissions, and court documents
• Legal research and advice on commercial law issues
• Client communication and file management
• Supporting insolvency and restructuring matters

What We Are Looking For

• Admitted solicitor in Queensland (1–3 years PQE)
• Strong academic background and attention to detail
• Commercial mindset — you understand the business context, not just the law
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
